First Degree (Reiki I): Self-Healing & Foundations

Join Shayla Herndon‑Edmunds (Coach Shayla) for Reiki I: Self-Healing & Affirmation, an intimate and transformative workshop designed to introduce the practice and philosophy of Reiki while gently guiding you back into relationship with yourself.

This first level of Reiki is an invitation inward. We explore Reiki not only as a healing modality, but as a way of listening—slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and allowing your energy to come back into alignment.

Shayla’s Reiki journey began over thirteen years ago during a season that many know well: she was a mother of two toddlers, a devoted partner, a working professional, and an entrepreneur—deeply skilled at caring for others, yet disconnected from her own need for rest and support. The cumulative weight of doing all the things eventually showed up as fatigue, depression, sciatica, and a life that looked good on the outside but felt heavy to live inside.

Reiki changed everything.

The healing and awareness Shayla experienced during her first Reiki session awakened something familiar and forgotten. That moment inspired her to study Reiki, seek attunement, and begin a personal healing journey that would later expand into supporting others in remembering their own wholeness. Reiki I is the doorway she once walked through—and the same doorway she now lovingly holds open for others.

• Explore the history and philosophy of Usui Reiki Ryōhō

• Learn traditional Japanese grounding and meditation techniques

• Practice hands-on self-treatment and foundational wellness sessions

• Receive your Reiki I Degree Attunement

• Receive electronic course materials and a certificate of completion
